Electric Vehicle (Email) Discussion List

The electric vehicle discussion list is a lively (30+ messages/day) email list populated mostly by people who convert old gas-powered cars to electric drive. The discussions are often technical, occasionally testonerone-filled, and always interesting. Everyone on the list is extremely helpful to all levels of questions, from newbie to gearhead.

The EV list has been amazingly helpful with my own EV experience. After reading the list for over a year, I learned enough to purchase a 1985 VW Cabriolet and have Mike's Auto Care convert it to electric drive. The EV list helped me through the learning process. I recommend lurking on the list for a while before driving electric.
